The tool
BidBetter is a free tool for running silent auctions. The organiser runs the auction and is responsible for it: the prizes, collecting payment, any licence or permit their city or province requires, and any tax receipts. BidBetter issues no receipts and handles no money.
Bids
Bids are binding offers to the organiser. Highest bid at close wins. Late bids can extend a prize's close by the time the organiser set. The organiser can extend or close the auction.
